ABSTRACT:
Quick recovery of operations after a site failure requires major planning and testing, dependent on an infrastructure and recovery plan that can be simply and affordably managed. Virtualized iSCSI SANs are increasingly being chosen for virtual data center deployments because they help simplify storage management and help overcome performance, scalability and cost barriers of traditional SAN architectures. New levels of integration between iSCSI storage networks and virtualized server platforms are dramatically changing expectations of how simple and affordable a disaster-resilient enterprise infrastructure can be. In this session, we will review the latest advancements in protecting against disaster in virtual environments and highlight real-world customer experiences.
